A Study on the Woo Eh Moo Eun Pyun of the Young Chu(çÏõÒ)

Abstract
As it is shown in the sixty ninth chapter of the Young Chu(çÏõÒ), the Woo Eh Moo Eun Pyun(¿ì¿¡¹«¾ðÆí) predominantly explains about pathogenic factors of the aphonia(ã÷ëå), method of the puncture, function and pathology of the vocal organs.
1. It was reported that aphonia is resulted from the failure of vocal function being result from accident malfunction of the mental energy(ãêѨ) by the emotional distress.
2. It explained the function of vocal organs-such as, pharynx(ÀÎÈÄ), larynx(ÈÄ·Õ), epiglottis(üåæô), lips(Ï¢âî), tongue(àß), tonsil(úØè¼á÷), nasopharynx and oropharynx(Ç×»ó), hyoid bone(üôÍé).
3. Dysphasia(Ùíåë) is the disturbance of words caused by the malfunction of the hyoid bone: stammering(ñìåë) is the repetition of words with pause in sounds due to slow operation of the epiglottis; aphonia(Ùíåë) is a symptom not producing a sound of human voice by malfunction being resulted from cold evil¢¥s(ùÎÞ÷) invading the epiglottis
4. It explained that bleeding(ÞáúìÛö) meridian of the Conception Vessel(ìòØæ) and Kidney Meridian(ðëá´ëäãìÌè) and acupuncturing Chondol(ô¸ÔÍ) are adequate for the cure of aphonia.
